Von den Hügeln Äthiopiens – wo der Kakao noch Geschichten erzählt

Und dann dieser Gedanke: Aus diesen kleinen, unscheinbaren Bohnen entsteht etwas, das Menschen überall auf der Welt glücklich macht.

Unsere Arbeit beginnt da, wo andere noch schlafen. Die Sonne kommt langsam über die Berge, und die Bauern sind schon draußen, prüfen die Früchte, öffnen die Schoten vorsichtig, fast ehrfürchtig. Transport, Export, internationale Märkte – das alles klingt groß, aber am Ende sind es Menschen, die diese Arbeit tragen. Menschen mit Erde an den Händen und Sonne auf der Haut.
